The company started in the 1970’s and grew to fame in the 1980’s when the designer and company founder, Claude Montana, created innovative futuristic designs. The company evolved with the times and in the 1990’s, the fashion designs became more layered, feminine and soft. Eventually, after the untimely death of Claude’s wife, he sold the company. Stephanie Parmentier took over the company in 2002 and kept the company name.
